Despite the rail strikes impeding journeys, thousands turned out for an Enough is Enough rally in Glasgow to protest against rising energy bills and the cost-of-living crisis.



'Enough is Enough' protests in London and Leeds against cost-of-living crisis

Hundreds of people gathered to protest the cost of living in London and Leeds, UK on Saturday. The group gathered in front of King Cross station, Euston Station and in Leeds' city centre carrying banners saying “Support the strikes” and “Enough is enough”. The economic policies of the ruling Conservative Party were protested in the demonstration, despite Prime Minister Liz Truss defending the budget in an interview on Friday.
